Police charge 18-year-old after home invasion

Police have charged an 18-year-old man after an alleged home invasion in Childers.

Police allege he entered the North Street home late Wednesday night armed with a knife and allegedly assaulted a man who was home at the time.

The 18-year-old was charged with entering a dwelling with intent and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed.

He is due to front court next month.
