Christmas is a time for many things, and eating is very high on that list. Not only the traditional Christmas dinner, but holidays and good weather usually means we head out to eat with friends and family too.
In a previous life, I was a chef, so this is actually a subject pretty close to my heart.
How do you eat your steak? Everyone has a preference, but I have never met a chef that is honestly happy to cook a well done steak. They'll do it if that's what you order, but they'll be grumbling the whole time. I know I did. :)
So, what is right? Medium Rare to Medium is usually considered to be the average if nothing is specified by the customer. Personally, Rare or even Blue (depending on the cut and quality) is how I'll have mine.
