Bundaberg Police held the annual Day for Daniel event during Child Protection Week.

Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest child safety awareness and education day.

This event included nine schools with 600 children attending.

There were also two special guests, Bruce and Denise Morcombe from the Daniel Morcombe Foundation (pictured above with Mayor Jack Dempsey).

Bruce and Denise attended to show their support and promote a strong message to the Bundaberg schools in relation to child safety – recognise, react and report.
