A Gladstone woman has been slapped with drug charges after she was pulled over by Police in Hervey Bay.
Police from Hervey Bay Police Station were conducting mobile patrols along Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba on Thursday, when they intercepted a silver Nissan X-trail at about 2.15am for the purpose of a roadside breath test (RBT).
Whilst police were speaking to the driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old Gladstone woman, they observed two small clip seal bags containing a substance inside the vehicle.
As a result, police questioned the driver of the vehicle regarding the items.
The driver declined to be interviewed and was subsequently issued with a notice to appear in court for possession of a dangerous drug.
She will appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on December 5.
