Boost across Bundaberg building industry

Queensland's regional dwelling approvals for July have delivered mixed news for the state’s building industry.

Latest figures show new houses are up 17.2 per cent over the month but regional numbers painted a varied picture.

Master Builders Deputy CEO Paul Bidwell said Wide Bay Burnett was the solid performer across the state.

"Housing approvals increased by 21 per cent for the month of July," he said.

It is believed home builder grants are have had an impact on the number of new home approval numbers.
