Not a great start to the September school holidays on our roads, with dozens of drivers caught doing the wrong thing behind the wheel.
Police say twenty drink drivers and 10 drug drivers have been nabbed in just the first few days of the spring break.
They allegedly caught one driver doing 126km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Bruce Highway on Monday .
The motorist is also accused of drink driving, allegedly blowing four times legal blood-alcohol limit.
The incidents have led senior sergeant Josh Churchward to remind locals police will be out in force for the remainder of the holidays.
"Police will be out on all of our major highways, our arterials and even right across our beaches during our school holiday period," Senior sergeant Churchward says.
"We are urging everyone to be safe, obey the rules at all times and enjoy your holiday."
