A woman in her late teens has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition, following a crash on the Bruce Highway.
Her 4WD collided with another vehicle at Kolonga, north of Gin Gin, around 4pm on Thursday, before crashing into a bridge barrier.
The teenager suffered head and lung injuries.
Bundaberg's RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene a short time later, landing in a nearby paddock.
The patient was then transported to the waiting chopper with the help of Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics and Queensland Police Service officers, before being flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
