FUNDING AVAILABLE

Local community groups are being urged to apply for funds under the Stronger Communities Program. If you’re a not for profit organization in the Hinkler electorate, this is your chance to help build some facilities with federal government funding. Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt said grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 are available for eligible not-for-profit organisations for small capital projects. All applications need to commit at least matching funding or in-kind contributions. An independent Hinkler advisory committee will examine and prioritise projects to ensure the funding delivers the best possible outcome for our local communities.

Full guidelines are available at www.business.gov.au/assistance/stronger-communities-programme.

Expressions of interest must be received by Keith Pitt’s Hinkler electorate office by 5pm on Tuesday, 15 August 2017
