The Division Review

Tom Clancy’s The Division is a third person MMO shooter from Ubisoft. The game has a strong campaign story that is unique enough to keep you interested for hours of gameplay as you grind your way to higher levels of achievement. There are elements of the title that reminded me of other shooter MMOs like Destiny and and fair bit of the gameplay seems to come direct from more recent titles like Watch Dogs.

Building the home base is very rewarding, as you unlock different sections more character perks and traits become available. The weapons are strong and realistic which is what you expect from a Tom Clancy game, who previously brought us titles like Rainbow six and Splinter Cell.

Journey into the Dark Zone to gather higher grade gear but try not to shooter other players (unless you want their gear) because you’ll go rogue and not only be hunted down by every player in the area, but penalised by the game.

The one letdown I found was there just isn't enough different types of enemies or missions, after a few hours it gets very repetitive. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still enjoying the game, but I hope with further updates they will add more variety in enemies.
