No Mans Sky Review

I can see why some people are saying that No Man's Sky is repetitive, it is.

You spend a great majority of the hours playing it doing exactly the same thing, mining for resources.

But to be fair, that’s not actually any different to any of the other popular games like say “Minecraft”.

The space flight is good and the first person adventure is nice, graphically it's impressive if only a little basic, but something niggles at me when I play.

It feels like it’s a step away from being a true masterpiece.

I can’t help but think that maybe it the soul of the game that is missing?

Everything is so robotic and cold, that you never really feel a connection to your character.

It doesn't give you an explanation or purpose as to why you are doing what you are doing or why you are seeking out monuments to learn a language.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still hooked enough to try to make it to the galactic centre.. No matter how long it takes..

Well.. at least until the next game that comes along and distracts me from it.

No Man's Sky is a 3 out of 5.
