Aussie Passwords Still a Bit Dodgy
NordPass has released its latest list of the most common passwords and it seems many people are still using options that are far too easy to crack. Even with cyber threats on the rise, simple logins remain surprisingly popular.

Top 20 No Surprises Here
The usual suspects dominate the list. Think 123456, password, admin and qwerty. A few quirky picks show up, such as Starwars29, but most are simple strings or predictable variations. If any of these ring a bell you might want to rethink your login habits.

Are You Guilty
Be honest. Did one of these passwords come to mind as you read the list? If so, you are definitely not alone. Many people reuse short and simple passwords because they are easy to remember, but they are just as easy for criminals to guess. If your go to password appears anywhere in that list, it is a good time to upgrade to something longer, unique and harder to crack.

Why It Matters
Hackers can crack most of these common passwords in a second or less. That puts everything from your emails to your banking and personal accounts at risk. A strong and unique password is one of the simplest ways to keep your online life secure.
