Music Bingo at the RSL is a fundraiser for Mates4Mates. This supports local student, Seth Johnson, as he travels to Europe as part of the Premiers ANZAC Prize. Mates4Mates and the support of RSL Queensland, is committed to providing support to current and ex-serving Defence Force members and families experiencing the impacts of service. They provide a way forward for those experiencing service-related physical injuries, mental health concerns and social disconnection. Premier’s ANZAC Prize awards 8 Queensland students to travel over to Europe to commemorate soldiers. The process is academic intensive, having to research historical military documents, present a eulogy abroad, and also privileged to attend dawn service at the Australian War Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux.
