Bridges Health & Community Care- Wintergarden Theatre

Bridges Health & Community Care is a not-for-profit organisation based in Bundaberg that has been supporting mental health, alcohol and other drug recovery, and community wellbeing since 1997. Through its creative wellbeing initiative, BridgeWorx, Bridges brings together the arts, health, and community sectors to foster connection, storytelling, and skill development.

In 2025, Bridges began leasing the historic Wintergarden Theatre from Bundaberg Regional Council, transforming it into a vibrant community hub. As part of the BridgeWorx program, the Wintergarden is now home to exhibitions, performances, creative workshops, and community events that celebrate stories of significance to the communities of the Bundaberg region and support inclusive participation.

The Wintergarden Theatre offers a range of flexible spaces for hire, including the beautifully restored Gallery, a meeting room, and the theatre for performances, events and conferences. Whether you’re hosting a workshop, forum, conference, screening, or exhibition, the Wintergarden provides a unique heritage setting with modern amenities right in the heart of Bundaberg.
