20 extra QPS Officers have been deployed to Bundaberg to assist in recovery efforts following severe flooding in the region.
The group includes Water Police from Brisbane, with the team assisting with evacuations.
There has already been multiple rescues throughout the region, including the swiftwater rescue of a man and his dog in Bundaberg North on Wednesday.

Crews also were able to rescue a woman in her 80s from a property in Chinchilla after a PSPA was declared in the region.
No injuries were reported in either evacuation.
