Bundy real estate agent mentors PNG colleagues

A Bundaberg real estate agent has taken the lead in developing talent in Papua New Guinea.

It’s part of property management training conducted by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland, in collaboration with its PNG counterpart.

Bargara agent Le-Ann Allan spearheaded the sessions in May at Port Moresby.

“It’s been such an honour to support real estate excellence beyond our borders,” Ms Allan said.

“The participants were incredibly engaged and motivated.

“From property managers and valuers to maintenance contractors, facilities managers, and business owners, all looking to improve service delivery and operate with more structure and accountability.”

The Institute’s CEO Antonia Mercorella says it’s important to boost professional standards and skills with our Pacific neighbours.

“The REIQ has a proud history of supporting the Real Estate Industry Association of PNG in its ambition to raise the bar of the local real estate sector,” Ms Mercorella said.
