A cyclist has been seriously hurt following a hit and run in a coastal community.
Just before 1pm Saturday, April 12, a grey van was travelling on Powers Street in Burnett Heads when it struck the cyclist and the driver failed to stop.
The rider, a 69-year-old man, was taken to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses, particularly anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision of the grey van prior to the incident, are urged to contact police.
