More than half a million dollars will be injected into Burnett Bowls Club.
The $542k funding will see upgrades across the facility, including new lighting for night games and improved disability access.
Member for Burnett Stephen Bennett says the club is very deserving.
“These funds will enable the club to undertake some dramatic upgrades and throw their hat in the ring for more state competitions and tournaments,” Mr Bennett said.
“It will also ensure our hard-working club volunteers can continue to play a critical role in supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of their community,” he said.
“Cold rooms, air-conditioning and various other safety measures will all be upgraded or replaced, and I look forward to seeing the works completed.
“The Crisafulli Government is proud to back hardworking community clubs like Burnett Bowls, because we know they’re the heart of our towns.
