Link Airways starts offering direct services between Bundaberg and Brisbane today.
Previously, only Qantas was operating from the local airport and it’s hoped the new addition will spark more competition and reduce ticket prices.

A one-way journey is costing around $211 for November on Link.
Flights will run Sunday through to Fridays.
The airline will grow to 17 return weekly services in 2023.
