Dramatic scenes in Svensson Heights early Tuesday morning.
Multiple vehicles, including mini buses, have been destroyed by fire at the Network Car and Truck Rental depot on Industrial Avenue.
There are reports three people had broken into the depot, stolen a vehicle and set another alight.
A 66-year-old North Bundaberg man was found with non-life-threatening injuries and did not require hospitalisation.
It is understood the trio threatened the man with a knife before stealing his Toyota Prado, and setting a nearby ute on fire.
The fire then spread to four neighbouring vehicles before emergency services contained the blaze.
No one was inside the vehicles at the time.
Police immediately declared a crime scene, and investigations are continuing.
The white Toyota Prado has subsequently been located on fire on Goodwood Rd at Kinkuna.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.
