Police now believe a missing 82-year-old from Childers could be in North Queensland as they continue to appeal for new information.
Investigators have released a new CCTV image of Peter Hodgins, who was last seen leaving a Morgan Street property around 6:45pm Sunday, May 19.
It’s believed he may be within the Townsville area or attempting to travel there.
Mr Hodgins was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, jeans, brown shoes and a dark coloured coat (pictured).

Search efforts are continuing in Childers, with assets from SES, QRAT aerial drone support, QFES and QPS trail bikes joining the search.
Residents in both Childers, Townsville and neighbouring areas are urged to check their properties, sheds and structures for signs of Mr Hodgins.
