The MAFs Reunion Dinner Party Recap: Proposals, Scandals, and Lawyers…?

April 13, 2026 12:19 pm in by

For the last time this season, our couples came together for one last dinner and it was a very quiet and pleasant evening. Wait, sorry, wrong show. Yeah look it’s about as chaotic as you’d expect.

Starting us off we’re treated to Alissa expecting an apology from David. Alissa shared to David that him refusing to listen to her vows felt like being spat in the face and she even called him a coward that wouldn’t face the music. David however thought the concert she was performing was wildly loud, unending, and intense, and that he had to tune it all out. So David has chosen he doesn’t want to listen to Alissa anymore which Alissa takes as her opportunity to get a walk-off in before he does.

Sadly Rachel’s premonition and fears of how her and Steven’s relationship would unfold all came to pass and the pair chose to split before filming commenced. Rachel felt he didn’t prioritise her at all and clearly it was enough to break them.

Bec & Danny hit a wall when Steph revealed to Bec that her and Danny had been regularly chatting. Chatting, which involved the sharing of bikini pics. Bec takes it as well as you’d expect and declared that “the man I am still in love with is messaging another bride”.

Oh yeah, and Stella and Filip are great. They announced their engagement, I’m just glad at least one couple seems to be genuinely doing well.

At the actual dinner party, things kicked off straight away. Bec asked Danny if he wanted Steph to sit next to him, Tyson questions David why he refused to listen to Alissa’s vows, and Filip attempts to bring some positive energy to the room by sharing his and Stella’s engagement story.

David and Alissa go around in circles again with him refusing to engage any further with Alissa. Danny tries to save himself from the Steph and Bec drama by sharing that he responds to everyone with heart emojis and that this shouldn’t be an indicator of him chasing after Steph, instead they were just talking Real Estate as two people who work in that world. Bec doesn’t buy a work of it and calls the pair liars and tells them to go off together. This is what finally breaks Danny, with him claiming he will refuse to come back for the Reunion Commitment Ceremony and that his lawyer will speak for him instead.

The final episode arrives tonight.
