Max Gawn also inched out ahead of his former teammate Brodie Grundy, for the ruck spot.
The All-Australian Captain was revealed to be Coleman medalist, Jeremy Cameron. Much to even his surprise as he later said “I haven’t captained anything in my life”. Thankfully to the nervous Cat, the role is largely is ceremonial.
Collingwood Magpies Nick Daicos was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2025 season as voted by fellow players, and has become the fourth-youngest winner of the award. Having played in all 23 matches this season, with a top six ranking for inside 50’s, averaging 30 disposals per game, and finally even taking some contested marks.
Western Bulldogs Captain Marcus Bontempelli made the team despite missing out on the first few games of the season and has secured his seventh time as a player in the team. If he keeps up the form he is currently in then he is sure to be joining some other eight time legends like Max Gawn soon.
