Forensic tests of the body are underway as police investigate the cause of the fire and urge anyone with information to come forward.
The Booyal Crossing Road home was fully engulfed about 9.15pm Saturday night and is now a crime scene.
A 75-year-old man and 79-year-old woman are still unaccounted for.
It is unknown if they were at home during the fire – Chief Inspector Grant Marcus told the media.
“We haven’t been able to positively locate those people at this point in time,” the Chief Inspector said.
