The Moore Park Beach Arts Festival is back this weekend (Saturday 15th August) and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Moore Park Beach Arts Inc’s President, Trish Mears, says it’ll be a great day out for all ages and there’ll be a range of attractions on offer.
“There really is something for everyone at this year’s festival,” Ms. Mears said.
“From discovering some treasures at our markets, to savouring tasty food and drinks, to seeing artisans at work and experiencing great art and entertainment, we think all ages will have plenty to enjoy at this year’s Moore Park Beach Arts Festival.”
This year’s stage and beach entertainment includes Jo Carr Singing Students, Isaac Maher, Moore Park Beach Drumfit Display and Australian Idol contestant Keely Ellen.
Meanwhile, Canton of Burnfield will be putting on demonstrations of pre-1600 crafts such as spinning, weaving, embroidery, fletching, chainmail-making and illumination.
The Cultural Village will once again be a highlight, with festival-goers able to wander through and learn about various cultures, with many local community groups set to feature interactive displays and activities.
Children of all ages will also be catered for with the Kids Zone with Funny Bunnies Soft Play, Mighty Mitts and alpacas.
Festival goers will have the chance to take home something special from around 100 market stalls, while Eat Street will have a huge array of food and drinks.
The all-day stage entertainment culminates on Saturday night, with former Australian Idol contestant Keely Ellen and her band set to take to the stage.
