This exclusive exhibition showcases many never before seen items that highlight Bert Hinkler’s days as a test pilot based at Hamble in the United Kingdom. With over 5000 items in the collection and continuing to grow, this exhibition is a rare opportunity for locals and visitors to see more of Bert’s story relating to his test pilot days in Hamble, United Kingdom. Many items including photographs, newspapers articles and sketches will give viewers a rare glimpse into Bert Hinkler's test pilot days. Exhibition will be on display in the Lex Rowland Gallery, normal admission fees apply for the Exhibition Hall. Drivers College is a non-profit entity whose ethos is “to save lives on our roads through early intervention education”. A purpose-built driver education complex has been constructed in Bundaberg Queensland; its purpose is to provide a safe off-road area for learner driver education. Volunteers wanted to help teach learner drives on their controlled environment driver training complex.

Transformed through community and school workshops, the anonymous letters from our former Message in a Bottle project have been reimagined as an installation experience Creating Contrast. We invite participants to create contrast using hand crafted recycled paper, printed with cyanotype, to form a unique box that will contribute to an organically evolving installation.
